Scanned PDFs are pictures of pages, so selecting a sentence is not always possible. FeedPDF renders your selected pages in memory and recognizes the printed text. Original PDF page numbers stay attached to the results, including blank pages.
The current service recognizes English, Hindi and Sanskrit. It does not translate your text or silently rewrite words. OCR can make mistakes, particularly in dense Sanskrit verses, small print and faded scans. Proofreading remains part of the process.
For the best result
- Choose up to 20 pages per session from a PDF with up to 1,000 pages.
- From and To are inclusive PDF page positions, not printed book page numbers.
- Leave To blank to read through the last page, subject to the 20-page session limit.
- Download the ZIP for page.5.txt, page.6.txt and so on when starting on page 5.

Can I select a range of pages?+
Yes. Choose From page and To page. Both numbers are included. Set the same number in both fields to extract one page.
Are blank pages skipped?+
No. A blank selected page produces an empty text file so the page sequence remains intact.
Can I use a locked PDF?+
Password-protected PDFs are not supported. Unlock your own document before uploading it.
