Sanskrit OCR is a starting point for transcription, not a substitute for a careful reader. Dense conjuncts, older print and unusual marks can be difficult to recognize. FeedPDF keeps the raw result visible so you can proofread and correct it before downloading.
The current service recognizes English, Hindi and Sanskrit. It does not translate your text or silently rewrite words. OCR can make mistakes, particularly in dense Sanskrit verses, small print and faded scans. Proofreading remains part of the process.
For the best result
- Use the clearest scan available and keep the page upright.
- Choose Auto for a book page with a printed central divider.
- Use Two columns and adjust the divider for unruled pages.
- Check matras, conjuncts, anusvara, visarga and verse numbers carefully. Vedic accent recognition is not guaranteed.

Can I process Sanskrit beside Hindi commentary?+
Choose the two-column layout. It reads the entire left column before the entire right column, with a blank line between them.
Will it correct Sanskrit spelling?+
No generated corrections are silently applied. The output remains raw OCR for your review.
Are old manuscripts supported?+
The initial model is for printed Devanagari. Handwritten manuscripts and Vedic accents require manual verification.
